Kirtyhoo

Hello. I’m Kristy and this is Kirtyhoo — a mish mash of events that take place in my fabulous life. Together with my husband Wes, we try to remain sane in this crazy world. We’re busy with work, home renovations, church, our community and raising two teenagers along with our four-legged BFF Beasley.

Tyler is 17, a junior in high school, and a certified life guard at the YMCA. I consider this a blessing since my greatest fear is choking in public on something weird like an olive pit. Now, I have the peace of mind knowing that my son carries proof in his wallet that he’s certified to save me.

Kelsey is our 15 year-old text-aholic. She sends and receives more text messages in one day than I will in a year. In just three months, she’s rubbed off the numbers on the keypad of her new Razor. I can only hope that this talent will one day be put to good use. Like NASA will start recruiting high school freshman to create MySpace pages for their astronauts and to speed text cosmonauts on the Space Station. HEY, it could happen!

And, then there’s Beasley. He’s our nicest child at the moment. A mix between a Bassett Hound and a Beagle, Beasley came to us by way of the Idaho Humane Society. He’s almost 5 years-old and we couldn’t live without him.
